Stats in 2013: Started all 12 games for the second straight season and was on the field for a total of 735 plays which was tied for the team lead. Also played in 10 games as a redshirt freshman.
Spot on 2013 Depth Chart: Oh he's starting for sure.
How did he come to USF: Selected USF over offers from Wake Forest, UCF, FIU, Middle Tennessee State, Miami, West Virginia and Cincinnati. Good choice, Austin.
Watch Listed: Reiter is on the watch list for the Rimington Trophy, awarded to the nation's top center. Just him and 63 of his closest snapping friends right now, but he stands a good chance makes the cut down list later this season as well.
Projected Playing Time In 2014: Unless he's tired, hurt, or suspended, he'll be out there basically every down.
Fun Fact: Reiter used to do some construction work with his father (a former Cincinnati Bearkat offensive lineman), and was swinging a 25 lb. sledgehammer alongside him during the summers. I guess that's where he gets his strength from?
