USF has three players registered on college football preseason watch lists, the school announced yesterday.
Senior center Austin Reiter was named to the Rimington Award Watch List, which goes to the most outstanding center. Reiter will be a three-year starter at center this season, and was also on the Rimington Watch List in 2013.
Junior tight end Sean Price was named to the Mackey Award Watch List, which goes to the most outstanding tight end. Price had 21 receptions in each of his previous two seasons, and will start for the third straight season.
Senior wide receiver Chris Dunkley was named to the Paul Hornung Award Watch List, which goes to the most versitile player in the country. A transfer from Florida, Dunkley will play not only receiver but also will likely return kicks and punts this season. He averaged over 20 yards per return last year, and returned one punt for a touchdown.
