USF Picks Up Commitment From Randall St. Felix Following Saturday Night Live Camp

The Bulls sent out several offers to participants of this weekend's Saturday Night Live camp, getting one quick WR commit from the 305.

Willie Taggart and staff hosted well over 100 high school prospects, including many of their biggest recruiting targets, at their Saturday Night Live camp on the USF campus yesterday.

By the end of the day, the Bulls landed one commit -- Randall St. Felix, out of Dr. Krop High School in Miami.

The Miami native seems to be an under-the-radar pickup for the Bulls, having yet to be graded by any major recruiting site. However, according to our friends Tito Benach and Josh Newberg at 247, his impressive play with the WR group on Saturday and ability to hang with some of the state's top DB recruits confirmed what the coaching staff saw in the receiver.

St. Felix is only the third commit in the Bulls' 2017 class so far, joining fellow Miami wide receiver Jernard Phillips and Sarasota defensive tackle Kelvin Pinkney.

Two particular camp standouts that the USF staff have made a huge effort to land in recent weeks were four-star ATH Bruce Judson out of Cocoa and three-star QB James Blackman from powerhouse Glades Central.

As has been the case with previous Taggart classes, these mid-July camps serve as the catalyst for the Bulls' recruiting push leading up to National Signing Day in February. With several more offers being made Saturday night, expect more commits in the coming weeks.
