Three-star Tallahassee Godby defensive end Trey Laing decided to make it official Wednesday night by signing his LOI for USF.

The 850 product officially announced his decision to sign on Tuesday...

Since committing back in June, Laing has served as the proverbial vocal leader of #Stampede18, actively recruiting his contemporaries to join him in Tampa.

During his senior year, the weakside defensive end racked up 42 tackles (25 for loss), 17.5 sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery. His younger brother and former USF 2019 verbal commit Kyler had 15.5 sacks on the strong side.

Laing was being actively pursued by Washington State and Rutgers before he decided to stick with the in-state school.
