The Bulls Block Party is Aug. 19th. We’re Going With The #StrongLook And Want You To As Well.

The 1st Annual Bulls Block Party was a smashing success. 550 green-and-gold-adorned faithful celebrated the upcoming season on 7th Avenue in Ybor City at varying levels of inebriation. A very good time was had by all.

We couldn’t have been more delighted with the success for the inaugural event, and are very much looking forward to this year’s edition on August 19th, starting at the Italian Club. Tickets are available on the USF Alumni Association website, and we’ll also be having a contest to giveaway two pairs at the end of this blog post!

But this year, we’re taking it one step further.

As you are likely aware, the Bulls new head coach and King of Early Recruiting Charlie Strong is a fan of the heretofore under-utilized sandals and socks look. He’s been doing it for years, and it’s continued even with recruiting visits for the unprecedented verbal class he’s hauled in so far.

So here’s what we’re gonna do: we’re bringing the #StrongLook to the Bulls Block Party! We’re asking everyone that reads this here website to rock the Birkenstocks/sandals/slides/Reefs and some crew cut white athletic socks to the event.

We did this when Charlie was being rumored to get the job, and you guys sent some great ones:

So this way we’ll all know each other, and it’ll be pretty damn funny. Plus it’ll give you a reason to talk about your favorite Bulls-centric website with everyone else in attendance. Believe it or not, there’s a bunch of people that still don’t know we exist.
