The recruiting momentum for USF football carried over into Tuesday evening.
After Ocala Lake Weir corner Brian Dillard and Camden County (GA) receiver Logan Berryhill both offered their verbal commitments, the Bulls picked up another prospect from south Georgia in three-star Brooks County weakside defensive end Tae’Aviion Gray.
GLEEE! 10000% Committed to the University of South Florida. Can't wait to be officially apart of this great program as well as to further my education there. The work is far from over!! pic.twitter.com/c7Mc64D3R1

DE Tae’Aviion Gray
6’2”, 215 pounds
Brooks County High School, Quitman, GA
Recruiting Rankings: Rated a three-star by both 247 and Rivals. 0.8333 Composite Score by 247.
Other Notable Offers: Washington State (random until remembering that Mike Leach coached at nearby Valdosta State), Cincinnati, Appalachian State, South Alabama, Georgia State
The Brooks County DE was a major proponent for the Trojans’ run to the GHSA Class AA state semifinals last season, totaling 33 tackles (8.5 for loss), 5.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles. He’d be named First-Team All-Region 1-AA after the season.
Gray becomes the 13th #GreenBreed19 verbally commit and the third one from Georgia, continuing the growing Peach State pipeline that Charlie Strong and defensive coordinator Brian Jean-Mary are establishing.
