We’re back with another edition of our weekly recruiting roundup and believe or not, some of USF’s Class of 2019 verbal commits are already entering the midway points of their respective senior years.

Let’s take a look at this week’s #GreenBreed19 prospects.

-Groveland South Lake’s Kelley Joiner Jr. will miss the next month or so with a broken fibula, an injury he suffered during his team’s 45-40 loss at Crystal River a few weeks back.

The three-star all-purpose back was having a monster season, putting up 1,005 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns in JUST THREE GAMES.

-Three-star Atlanta Mays quarterback Jahquez Evans helped lead Mays to a 28-0 shutout victory over New Manchester in Region 5-AAAAAA action last Friday night.

The Raiders will have off this Friday before battling Tri-Cities next week.

-Tampa Plant wideout Leonard Parker and his Panthers had off this past Friday after falling to rival Armwood 21-18 on Sept. 7.

The hometown three-star prospect has eight receptions for 135 yards and a touchdown on offense as well as 10 tackles and an interception on defense. Plant will return to action this Friday when traveling to Gaither.

-Davenport Ridge Community running back Josh Berry ran for 100 yards on 13 carries in the team’s District 8A-7 opener versus Lakeland Jenkins last Friday. However, four trips inside the Eagle 15 stalled for no points, dooming the Bolts to a 14-7 setback.

The three-star tailback and his team will host Tampa Jesuit this Friday.

-Two-star DeLand linebacker Demaurez Bellamy and his Bulldogs dropped their District 8A-1 opener to Mandarin 24-21 last Friday.

The two-away athlete has made a significant impact on both sides of the ball through four games this season. On offense, he leads the team in rushing with 351 yards on 54 carries and a touchdown while also bearing a receiving touchdown to his name. Defensively, he has 10 tackles, four TFLs, four sacks, and a fumble recovery.

Bellamy and his team will host Pine Ridge this Friday.

-Speaking of Pine Ridge, Daytona Beach Mainland safety prospect Andrew Plummer IV caught a touchdown pass against them last Friday as his Buccaneers cruised to a 44-3 victory.

The Bucs will host Dr. Phillips this week.
