The Bulls are coming off a season opening win versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff where they held the Lions to just 15 second-half points on the way to an easy 70-41 win. Junior guard David Collins scored a game-high 18 points and senior guard Laquincy Rideau recorded a double-double.
The competition takes a step up today when they welcome in Boston College fresh off a 77-70 victory over Wake Forest. Duke and USC grad transfer Derryck Thornton led the Eagles with 23 points in the victory. Freshman Jay Heath added 18 points, and Nik Popovic had 19 of his own in the win.
BC forced 17 Wake Forest turnovers on the way to the victory. The Bulls must be able to control the play inside and limit the extra possessions for the Eagles in order to win.
Come hang out in the comments!
