USF Men’s Soccer got a decisive 4-0 victory over Cincinnati on Senior Night to inch closer to the No. 4 seed in the upcoming AAC Tournament in Orlando.

USF used three first half goals to jet out to a lead they did not give up, with the first goal coming in the 6th minute scored by sophomore Javain Brown and assisted by senior Jonathan Rosales. Senior Adrian Billhardt got a goal as well when he was called up to take a penalty kick in the 23rd minute, extending the Bull’s lead to 2-0. Rosales recorded a goal as well in the 42nd minute on an unassisted play to give USF their 3-0 lead.
The Green and Gold continued the offensive effort in the second half, holding a powerful 24-7 shots advantage over the Bearcats. Junior Trey Jackson got on the score sheet in the 74th minute when he took a pass from fellow junior Freddy Gil and senior Stephen Rudderham, giving us the final scoreline of 4-0.
Senior Harrison Devenish-Meares got five saves on the evening as he recorded his fourth shutout of the season. Fellow senior Emilio Ycaza recorded two shots, one of them coming on frame.
The Bulls will close out their regular season as they travel to Memphis on Tuesday November 5th, where they will need a victory as well as a loss by Temple to clinch the No. 4 seed in the AAC Tournament.
