Taggart has an enormous buyout from FSU so maybe they'll stick with him, but if so it's only because of the money. There's a pretty good chance he'll be available before the end of the year.
Perhaps like Charlie Strong could only win with Lamar Jackson, maybe Taggart could only win with Quinton Flowers. However, I would take my chances on Taggart. He was a good recruiter. It doesn't seem that Strong is good in that area (or any area save promoting white sweaters).
We're going to be looking for a post-Strong coach soon (hopefully very soon). Taggart will need to rebuild his resume. And I'm not sure we can do better, because it's not clear that the post-Strong Bulls are going to be attractive to up-and-coming head coaches.
I don't know if we can get him back, but let's take a poll on if we should.
