Just four days after listing USF in his top six, Jacksonville First Coast wide receiver Tyree Saunders decided to become the fifth prospect to verbally pledge to the Bulls’ 2020 class.

WR Tyree Saunders
6’1”, 180 pounds
First Coast High School, Jacksonville, FL
Recruiting Rankings (for now): Three-star by 247 (0.8600 Composite) and Rivals.
Other Notable Offers: The other teams in his top six included UConn, FIU, UAB, Troy and Kent State.
Jacksonville area recruiter: Paul Spicer. He told Nate earlier in the week that, unsurprisingly, receiver’s coach Charlie Williams played a major role in his recruitment as well.
The explosive three-star out of DUUUUVVVAAALLL had a breakout junior year with the Bucanneers last fall, hauling in 54 receptions for 937 yards and nine touchdowns. Those stats earned him Third-Team All-First Coast honors by the Florida Times Union in December.
He told Nate what sold him on USF:
“The family environment. When I took my visit I sat in on the meetings with coaches and meetings for the wide receivers and I felt like I was already playing...I feel at home and it reminds me a lot of my school and how we are.”
With a receiver, a running back and a dual-threat QB committed to this class for now, we’re seeing the pieces for OC Kerwin Bell’s future offense starting to be assembled.
