USF Football received another verbal commit on Friday afternoon with defensive back Jaelen Stokes from Auburndale, FL choosing to stay in the Bay Area for his collegiate career.

After all four members of the Auburndale secondary took visits to USF in early March, Jaelen Stokes was the first one to pull the trigger to join the Green and Gold.
Stokes is a part of an elite group in the secondary that averaged less than 13 points per game in 2019. He provided 34 tackles, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and three pass breakups as the Bloodhounds went on to an 8-3 record last season.
