#88 WR Chris Dunkley
Senior, 6'0", 188 lbs.
Stats in 2013: Dunkley had a disappointing season, getting only seven catches for 87 yards.
Spot on 2013 Depth Chart: He was the #2/#3 receiver behind Andre Davis.
How did he come to USF: He originally committed to UF and spent a year there redshirting before deciding to transfer to USF. He then had to sit out the 2011 season as well and was left with three years of eligibility. The reason behind the transfer stemmed from conflicts with the coaching staff and discipline issues. Those issues didn't end when he transferred as he was suspended from the team during the 2012 season after being arrested on assault charges just two hours after losing to FSU. He was then reinstated to the team last spring after his legal issues cleared up.
Recruiting Ratings: Rivals and ESPN had him at four stars, but Scout had him at five. Scout ranked him as the #8 receiver in the country for his class, while ESPN had him at #7. Dunkley, as you would imagine, had offers from just about everyone, including Alabama and FSU.
Projected Playing Time in 2014: Dunkley will likely be the #2 receiver behind Andre Davis this year. I would expect him to try to make a splash and show everyone why he was such a highly rated recruit, with the NFL scouts in mind as well.
Fun Fact: Dunkley is the only player on the roster from Pahokee, FL.
