Only Jeremi Hall Days Until USF Football

Hall may not start this season, but he'll likely see playing time.

Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

#73 OL Jeremi Hall
Redshirt Sophomore, 6'5", 345 lbs.

Stats in 2014: Jeremi appeared in seven games, serving as the backup left guard.

Spot on Spring Depth Chart: Once again the backup at left guard behind Thor Jozwiak.

How He Came to USF: Hall went to Tri-Cities High School in Atlanta, where he was a standout player. He was originally committed to Georgia Tech, but after taking an official visit to USF without telling them, Tech pulled their offer. He eventually signed with USF. Recruiting is weird!

Recruiting Rankings: Hall was a three-star recruit on both Rivals and Scout and a high two on 247.

Projected Playing Time: Jeremi is caught in a bit of a black hole between the older, more experienced linemen (Jozwiak, Brynjar Gudmundsson) and the young up-and-comers (Michael Galati, Benjamin Knox, Reilly Gibbons), and needs to have a big fall camp to hold off the underclassmen and keep his spot on the two-deep. That said, he may be in time for playing time if he can do that-- Jozwiak has been injury-prone, and Hall could be the first man in line for spot duty. After that, he'll be competing with the young guys once again, this time for a starting role.

Fun Fact: Jeremi is one of only seven Bulls not from Florida who were recruited by USF straight out of high school. Can you guess the others?
