TE Chris Carter Jr.
6’3, 230 pounds
South Dade High School, Homestead, FL
Recruiting Ratings: 3-Star by 247 and Rivals. 0.8333 Composite by 247.
The 2018 tight end recently transferred to South Dade for his senior year after spending the previous three years at nearby Keys Gate Charter.
Carter (no relation to Hall of Fame wideout Chris Carter) chose USF over offers from Illinois, Western Kentucky, and AAC opponent Tulane. He’s also cousins with 2017 signee Frederick Lloyd, so that definitely played a factor into him pulling the trigger early.
Y'all watch out me and my cousin Making move at south Florida Congrats Cuh https://t.co/LOmoAdt6Hj

HUDL:
Yes, we realize that approximately a million things can and will change in regards to recruiting between now and the newly approved early-signing period in December.
However, it’s never too early to at least start familiarizing ourselves with some of the names we’ll be seeing signing with USF in the winter, so we’ll be keeping tabs on them as more commitments come in the summer months.
