Malcolm Ray is headed to Tallahassee.
After a late push by Florida State, the once three-star USF defensive tackle commit out of Carol City decided to flip on day one of the early signing period and sign his national letter of intent with the Seminoles.

Committed to the Bulls since August, the Carol City playmaker was for months USF’s highest rated 2019 prospect per 247. (Coffeyville C.C. defensive back McArthur Burnett recently took that mantle.)
Come November, however, Willie Taggart and his Noles staff started making a strong play for the Dade County standout, coming through with a late offer on Nov. 14.
Ray took an official visit to FSU’s campus this past weekend, where an ‘eye-opening experience’ and the chance to play with high school teammate Jarvis Brownlee nudged him in the direction of the Garnet and Gold.
