With fall practice starting in a few days, more preseason accolades are coming in for the Bulls. This one coming from the Rotary Lombardi Watch List with USF linebacker Dwayne Boyles earning a spot on the list, which goes to the nation’s best lineman or linebacker that excels on the field and carries the character and discipline of the late and great Vince Lombardi.
Congrats, @Dreadhead_wayne

Boyles is looking to cap off his collegiate career with USF in a big way with new defensive coordinator Bob Shoop touting a more aggressive defensive approach. The fifth year senior had a solid year with the Bulls despite coming off an injury in 2020, compiling 67 tackles with two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in a rather passive scheme.
Despite coming off a 2-10 season in 2021, this is the seventh award watch list to have a USF player on it.
