#91 DL Eric Lee
Junior, 6'3", 257 lbs.

Stats in 2013: He appeared in 11 games as as a sophomore, but did not register any stats.

He did have 17 tackles in 11 games as a freshman in 2012, including 6 tackles against Syracuse. Here he is talking about his first start.

Spot on 2013 Depth Chart: Was not listed on last year's two-deep. But just like Daniel Perry, none of the returning defensive ends were on the two-deep last season, so this doesn't really give us an idea about 2014.

How did he come to USF: By way of Daphne, Alabama, where he won a state title as a junior in 2010, as Daphne HS went 15-0.  He was honorable mention All-State his senior year. He selected USF after taking a visit at Minnesota and offers from double-digit schools.

Recruiting Ratings: Eric was rated as a 3-star recruit by RivalsScout, and 247.

Projected Playing Time In 2014: He has more experience than most of the returning linemen, but it may be tough to see where he fits in this season. He's got the size necessary to play end, but after barely seeing the field last season, will he get an opportunity this year? Here's a quote from his high school coach (via Scout):

"He didn’t begin as a starter, but worked hard and became an outstanding player for us A lot of things changed for him since then especially with his size, he’s around 6’4, 235 pounds now, but his work ethic never changed.’

Maybe his college career will end up like his high school career. We are definitely rooting for him.

Fun Fact: He was a nominee for the Wendy's High School Heisman.
