How did he come to USF: Jones went to Blance Ely High School in Pompano Beach, where he excelled both athletically and academically, graduating in the top 10 percent of his class. According to a recruiting page he created back in the day, he received interest from FCS schools but decided to hold out for an offer from his favorite school, USF. The offer didn't come, but Jones walked on as a freshman and made the final roster as a sophomore and junior.

Recruiting Rankings: Clinton was not rated by any major recruiting services.

Projected Playing Time in 2014: Jones has only appeared in one game in his collegiate career-- a season-opening blowout against Chattanooga in 2012-- so likely very little. But the Bulls are thin at receiver and Clinton's stuck with the program as a walk-on for four years, so hopefully Coach T can find some garbage time minutes for him.
