High School: The Villages Charter School, The Villages, FL
Recruiting Rankings (for now): Listed as a three-star on 247, NR on Rivals.
Other Notable Offers: Rutgers, Virginia, Tulane.
Primary Recruiter: Bryan Hill and Steve Ellis, who will be his position coaches at USF.
Harris was a ‘Mr. Do-It-All’ in The Villages last year, getting significant playing time at QB, WR, RB, and FS. His stats as far as free safety were 120 tackles, 15 pass break ups, 3 interceptions, and 24 total touchdowns accounted for. Harris has an incredible ability to read and recognize plays, being able to pinpoint exactly where the opposing QB is going to look. His speed and athleticism allows him to break on a ball quickly and make clean tackles.
Standing at 6’2 and 200 pounds, Harris can easily transition into the free safety role once he gets dedicated coaching and playing time there. Of course, being able to showcase your athleticism at different positions is great for film, its unlikely he will have the need to play multiple positions in college. His recorded 40 time is a 4.5, so it looks like the coaching staff is really looking at speed and leadership as two key traits in this class.
