Hauling in 43 receptions for 379 yards and three touchdowns for Satellite as a junior, the 6’5” tight end was being courted by a wide range of programs for his services throughout the winter. Greenwald got the opportunity to visit a handful of these top suitors before the pandemic, taking junior day visits to NC State, UCF, USF and FSU, who had yet to offer him but showed heavy interest.
The Bulls made the cut when the Satellite Beach product released his top-eight list last Friday. According to Joey Knight, Greenwald made his decision after driving around USF’s campus on Tuesday afternoon.
Now the highest rated prospect in the class, Greenwald’s addition bumps USF’s 2021 class up to 37th in the nation during the young recruiting cycle and second in the AAC.
