USF head coach Jeff Scott and company was able to go right down Busch Blvd on Sunday and add an offensive linemen to their 2020 class in the form of three-star Tampa Chamberlain big man Cesar Reyes.

OL Cesar Reyes
6’5”, 300 pounds
Chamberlain High School, Tampa, FL
Recruiting Rankings: Three-star by 247 (0.8265 Composite Score), Rivals and ESPN.
Other Notable Offers: LSU, West Virginia, Maryland, Kentucky, UCF
At 6’5”, 300 pounds, the lengthy Reyes utilized his long arms to help block for a Chamberlain offense that amounted 1,573 rushing yards throughout the 2019 season and made the Region 3 semifinals in the FHSAA Class 5A state playoffs. Per MaxPreps, he tallied 27 pancake blocks through 11 games.
Switching between right guard and right tackle, the versatile Reyes was courted by several power five schools and was even projected to commit to LSU after attending spring practice last spring. While he did hold an offer from USF under the Charlie Strong regime, Coach Scott and his staff made him an immediate priority and invited him to campus for an official visit this past weekend. That’s all it took for the 813 product to stay home.
Reyes becomes the lone offensive line prospect on the board for the Bulls’ 2020 class after the previous three decommitted. Expect Scott and new offensive line coach Allen Mogridge to go hard on both the high school recruiting circuit and the transfer portal to get more fresh bodies in the door.
