USF Football received a commitment from Prokick Australia punter Andrew Stokes early Tuesday morning. Prokick Australia has produced some of the top punters in college, including 17 All-Americans and five Ray Guy award winners since its inception in 2007.
Super honoured to announce that I have accepted a full scholarship to study and play football an the University of South Florida! Thanks to all those involved who made this possible! @USFFootball @coach_jeffscott @CoachDaPrato @WillGilchrist5 @JohnnyPKA @ProkickAus @ConquestCQ pic.twitter.com/IfUYu7bbNg

The same academy has produced current Bulls punter Trent Schneider, who has crushed the USF punting record book since coming to USF in 2017, including tying the record for longest punt at 72 yards. This news comes less than 24 hours after DE Tyrik Jones announced his intentions to transfer. Joey Knight of the Tampa Bay Times reports Stokes will be a January 2021 enrollee.
The Bulls' projected punter of the future, @Stokes4Andrew, has spent the past 7 years playing Australian rules football in his native country. Dude's 26 and brawny (6-5, 220). Will enroll in January. More to come @USFFootball
