With less than three weeks until National Signing Day in February, USF’s 2020 class dwindled even more on Friday with the decommitment of Wauchula Hardee OT Evan Webster.
Feels a little weird saying but I’m no longer committed to @USFFootball My recruitment is 100% open. @Coach2Bless @Coach_BKemp @WebsterTeneka
— Evan Webster (@BIG_EVDOIT) January 17, 2020
A three-star offensive line prospect, Webster verbally committed to USF over offers from Florida State, Iowa State and Louisville back on September 1. Keeping a low profile on social media, Webster remained on board with the Bulls through the coaching transition and even indicated at one point that he’d sign in February. But after further deliberation, he ultimately decided to head elsewhere.
Jeff Scott and staff have their work cut out for them as Webster’s departure now leaves zero offensive linemen signed or committed to the 2020 class.
