Nine verbal commits are now on the board for JEff Scott and company as three-star safety Jordan Blackmon out of Eua Gallie High School in Melbourne decided to offer his verbal commitment to USF on Thursday.

Blackmon is coming off a stellar junior campaign in 2019 where he posed as a fierce presence in the Eau Gallie secondary and helped lead the Commodores to a 9-2 record. His ball-hawking abilities tallied him a team-high 94 tackles, four fumble recoveries, three interceptions and two forced fumbles. He also added 296 yards rushing and four touchdowns to the stat sheet as well as two blocked punts on special teams.
With offers already flooding in, the Melbourne product received one from USF while visiting campus for their Junior Day festivities on Feb. 1. The Bulls would find themselves in the company of USC, NC State, Louisville and others when he released his top 10 on April 11. Blackmon vaults up to being the second-highest rated verball commit so far.
